Our Mission

Launched in 2012, Community Banking Connections (CBC) is an online supervision and regulation publication, produced by the Federal Reserve System, that focuses on serving the community banking industry. It is a primary information source with resources, tools, and policy insights to help community bankers operate safely and soundly in a changing economic and regulatory environment.

Who We Are

CBC’s personnel and board comprise staff and leaders from the Federal Reserve Board and Federal Reserve Banks, with extensive experience in banking supervision, regulatory compliance, financial analysis, and community banking operations. They meet regularly to discuss the current challenges, trends, and key issues that matter most to you.
