The Community Banking Connections advisory board consists of leaders in supervision and regulation from the Federal Reserve Board and the 12 Federal Reserve Banks. Members meet regularly to discuss current policy changes, challenges, trends, and key issues in banking and supervision. Their goal is to present timely content to help community bankers navigate a changing economic and regulatory environment.

The Community Banking Connections (CBC) writers cohort consists of examiners and other Reserve Bank supervisory staff. Cohort members are CBC’s primary authors and were selected because of their extensive knowledge and subject matter expertise across a range of supervision and regulation topics.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is hosting this conference in partnership with the Texas Department of Banking for regional and community bankers in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District.

The program will provide perspectives from district bankers and federal and state supervisors on emerging trends in community and regional banking with specific focus on banking conditions, a regional economic outlook, fraud mitigation and integrating with service providers. CPE Credit is available.

Be sure to mark your calendars for October 6-7, 2026, the confirmed dates for the 14th annual Community Banking Research Conference. The conference, sponsored by the Federal Reserve, the Conference of State Bank Supervisors and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., will be held at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and webcast live.
