Ivy Washington is a team manager in the Domestic Supervision unit of the Supervision, Regulation, and Credit Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. In this role, she manages a team of credit specialists and examiners as well as schedules and oversees bank examinations and bank holding company inspections for the community banking portfolio. With more than 36 years of banking and regulatory experience, Ivy is a commissioned safety and soundness bank examiner, has led various supervisory events, and has been a central point of contact for two regional banking organizations and an insurance holding company. She also specialized as a Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering liaison and was a Federal Reserve System and Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council instructor for many years. Previously, Ivy worked in departmental and System outreach and managed Community Banking Connections. She also created and managed an external bankers’ training program for Third District state member banks and bank holding companies, and she supervised the Third District’s training initiatives for FedLine Solutions. Before that, she worked in the insurance and financial industries. Ivy has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Saint Joseph’s University.
