J.M. Nemish is an advanced examiner in the Supervision, Regulation, and Credit Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. He is the central point of contact for a portfolio of community and regional banks, small bank holding companies, foreign bank representative offices, and large and complex bank holding companies. J.M. has more than 20 years of banking supervision experience in various roles including supervising and regulating community banks and small bank holding companies, analyzing mergers and applications, leading system projects to make Federal Reserve System supervision processes more effective and efficient, and training and developing fellow regulators in the System as well as international central bank partners. He has a B.A. in business and economics from the Virginia Military Institute and completed the graduate banking school and leadership program hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.
