Summer DuMond is the principal supervision outreach consultant on the Supervision Outreach team at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Summer joined the Bank as an assistant safety and soundness examiner and was commissioned in 2015. Her roles on the Supervision Outreach team have included work on several Eighth District outreach programs: Conversations with the St. Louis Fed, Take Five with the St. Louis Fed, the Workshop on Financial Institutions Research, and the St. Louis Fed’s Women in Banking Symposium. She also earned three St. Louis President’s Award nominations for her contributions to these programs. At the Federal Reserve System level, she is responsible for Ask the Fed and plays an important role in the annual Community Banking Research Conference. She is on the Community Banking Connections advisory board and is a key relationship manager with state and national banking associations. She was also awarded the William Taylor Award for her contributions and leadership of the Ask the Fed program during the COVID-19 pandemic. Summer has bachelor’s degrees in business administration in economics and international trade from the University of Central Arkansas.
