Steve Jones is a risk specialist in the Surveillance and Risk Analysis Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City (Denver Branch). In this role, he focuses on identifying and analyzing risks to the financial services sector, assessing the impacts of regulatory and policy changes, and supporting the banking supervision function through targeted research and analysis. Previously, he was an examiner working in the community and regional banking portfolios. In addition to being a certified public accountant and Certified Internal Auditor and having a Certification in Risk Management Assurance, he has an M.B.A. and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Missouri State University, a master’s degree in predictive analytics from Northwestern University, and a master’s degree in information systems from the University of Colorado Denver.
